Rules
Cameras are
permitted and encouraged, but are for personal use ONLY. No duplication
or broadcasting without written permission from Spirits of Tours is allowed.
Video cameras are generally not allowed due to the safety and enjoyment
of the entire group.Walking tours typically last approximately 2 hours.
Total walking distance varies, but is always less than 1½ miles.
In the event of rain, bring an umbrella, our tours take place rain or shine.
Most of our walking tours have no restrooms available. We advise you to
consider this before starting the tour.
Cancellations
We conduct
our tours rain or shine, unless severe weather threatens the safety of
our groups. You will be notified of a cancellation at least 2 hours before
any tour event. If you are not notified, assume the event is on. To maintain
the quality and safety of all of our tours, tour sizes are always limited;
because of these reasons, tickets are non-refundable. Should we cancel
a tour for any reason we can issue you a tour certificate for use on a
future tour or credit the accounts of credit card users. No-shows will
not be refunded.
Safety
Our tours
are designed for entertainment. Your enjoyment and safety are our main
concerns.

Proper footwear-closed
toed shoes are required.

NO Flip-Flops,
NO High Heels.

Gym Shoes or Boots
required for safety.

You will NOT be
allowed on a tour with unsafe footwear.
After the tour,
please remember that private individuals have given the Spirits of Tours
permission to enter some locations. You may not return to these sites on
your own, separate from our tours. Absolutely no alcohol, smoking, or drugs
will be permitted on our tours. Anyone disobeying these rules will be removed
from the tour immediately, without refund. Spirits of Tours reserves the
right to remove anyone from our tours who poses a hazard to our guests
or private property sites or owners.
Age
Some of our
tours have age limitations related to content, safety, or insurance requirements.
Please notice these restrictions on each tour. Any tour allowing
12 to 17 years old must have one paying adult per 12-17 year old participant
unless it is an organized group such as girl or boy scouts.
Accessibility
The Lincoln
walking tours are semi-handicap accessible. Please be aware that some portions
of the tours may be difficult to maneuver in a wheel chair, especially
if it has recently rained. Sections of side walks and roads are often loose
or bumpy. Our other tours are not handicap accessible. Please call for
