The Spirits of Bloomington historic haunted tour was created in the winter of 2007. The original tour manuscript took over three months to write, using over fifty references and countless personal interviews. We wanted to create a respected account of Bloomington history while revealing fascinating tales, myths and paranormal accounts of the area.
Chis Hotz (Abraham Lincoln/Franky) and his wife Rose (graphic designer) have lived in the Bloomington area since 2006. They are the owners and innkeepers of the
Davis Rose Inn Bed & Breakfast.
Tom (Retail/Tour Operations) and his wife Deborah (Mary Todd Lincoln/Sally) are recent transplants to the area. Deborah is a Christian Spiritual Medium, Certified Paranormal Investigator and Parapsychologist. She balances her serious metaphysical practice with the lightness and discovery of the Spirits of Bloomington Tours.
Together they created the Abe on 66 Gift Store & the Spirits of Bloomington Tours. Their love for the town of Bloomington, the history that is Bloomington and their desire to encourage new tourist and fun activities in the historic downtown is what drives the success of this unique team.
