Join President Abraham Lincoln and

on Saturday, July 31st, as they "parade" from the "Oaks" Mansion to the
"Courthouse" (McLean County Musuem of History) lawn for the flag raising
and opening ceremonies of the Lincoln Festival in Bloomington. The Lincolns
and her sister Elizabeth Edwards will be providing presentations at the
Bloomington Public Library and appearances throughout the day at the "Oaks",
Vrooman Mansion and downtown Bloomington. FREELater that evening, at 9pm, join Abe and Mary Todd for Lincoln's Ghost Walk around downtown Bloomington! Reservations are $10 via PayPal:

First Mackinaw Valley Wild West Roundup - Sunday August 8, 12-6pm
presented
by The Spirits of Bloomington Theater Group
Come visit and step back in time
for a fun filled day with the whole family. Western legends will come alive
at the vineyard on Sunday August 8; meet Wyatt Earp, Annie Oakley, Wild
Bill Hickok, Buffalo Bill Cody and many more historic characters.
Dig out your best western gear to join in the fun, there will be a look-a-like
contest for the best Annie Oakley and Wyatt Earp. Activities will last
all day including - Storytelling, Square dancing, Shootouts, Saloon Entertainment
by Patsy Stone, Old Fashioned games for the kids and much more! Hitch
up your wagon and roundup the family for a great day in the country.
Meals and snacks will be available at our chuck-wagon feed in the pavilion.
Menu TBA. $10 for adults, $5 for kids under 12. Family package $29
for- 2 adults and up to 4 children day of event or $25 family discount
package if purchased in advance.
